  We offer two spacious en suite rooms (double/twin/triple), with tea / coffee making facilities

A smaller room without en suite facilities is also available

  Pleasant garden at guests' disposal, with patio areas and benches to enjoy the river and moorland views, the snowdrops in February, daffodils in March/April, bluebells and rhododendrons in May/June

HOW TO PAY

We accept most major credit and debit cards.   If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make it payable to "Hunter's Lodge B & B".  We are unable to accept "provisional" bookings:  no reservation is guaranteed until a deposit has been received.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (B & B)

We normally request a deposit to cover the first night's accommodation or one third the total whichever is the greater.  The deposit is refundable if you cancel up to 2 weeks before the start of your stay.  All refunds are subject to a £5 administration charge.

Rates are per person per night and include a full English breakfast.  We give a 10% discount on the prices shown for stays of 3 nights or more in the house (not cottage).

EXTRA BEDS can be provided in an en suite double/twin room.  For children: an extra bed is £12

The Rooms

Room 1

A spacious south-facing room with a unique view over the meeting of the East and West Dart rivers.    The beds can be arranged as a 2 metre wide double bed or two singles.   The en suite consists of shower, washbasin and toilet.    An extra bed can be added for families.

Room 2

Also a spacious room, with a limited view on to a corner of the garden.      Equipped with a standard double bed (4'6" or 135cm)there is also room for one extra bed.    There is a complete en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower unit over the bath, washbasin and toilet.

Room 3

A smaller room with a beautiful view over the Dart, which has a bunk bed, double below (4' or 120cm wide) and single above.    Very comfortable mattresses.   It has no en suite facilities.   There is a separate guest bathroom with bath and shower along the corridor and down a few steps.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Please note that Hunter's Lodge is not easily accessible to people who have difficulties with steps.  The path from our car park to the house includes a stone stairway and there are two short flights of stairs in the house.  However, passengers and heavy luggage can be dropped off at the front door and there are banisters on all the stairways.

Our beds have feather and down pillows: let us know if you prefer anti-allergenic synthetic foam pillows.

Please also inform us of any special dietary requirements you may have.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Rooms are available from 4 pm* on the day of arrival and we ask you to vacate them by 11 am on the day of departure.  During your stay you have constant access to your room and the guest lounge.

* Except on Mondays when we are closed between 12 noon and 6 pm.  So if you are arriving on a Monday, we would request that you arrive before 12 or after 6.
