SUMMARY OF AA REPORT DATED FEBRUARY 2004

"Hunter’s Lodge continues to provide a very good standard of services and facilities which scores securely into the Four Diamond category.   A confident recommendation for continuance of this rating is made from this inspection.

Housekeeping standards were noted to be a continuing strength with clear attention to detail in all areas and a fresh atmosphere throughout the establishment. Previous good scores for hospitality were borne out and I was pleasantly welcomed by Mr & Mrs Evans.

Bedrooms are in great shape and the rooms are comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly spacious.   Public areas are similarly appointed and are full of charm and character.

Without doubt, it's exterior and location are some of Hunter's Lodge's greatest strengths, along with the developments to the ground, which are most impressive, all appeared in excellent condition.   Undoubtedly a most pleasant venue:  continued success looks assured here."

SUMMARY OF AA REPORT DATED MAY 2003

"Hunter's Lodge B/B offers comfortable, well appointed accommodation for visitors to the area.   Its delightful location must attract numerous guests;  the views are stunning and the countryside, splendid.

At the very heart of the venture is the food.   Dinner was thoroughly enjoyable, with vibrant flavours being the order of the day. The choice of four West Country cheeses to finish the meal, a real treat.   Breakfast too was noteworthy; again good local produce.

Standards of cleanliness, considered to be of paramount importance within the Common Standards, were exacting, with a pleasing attention to detail.   As a direct result of this overnight stay, a commendable Four Diamond rating will be recommended, with awards for both dinner and breakfast."
